Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is Europe's most exciting new resort, located on the south coast of Sicily near the fishing village of Sciacca.The resort offers discreet exclusivity that few places can match.
The resort is set over 230 acres of stunning landscape with 1.8km of private coastline, yet has just 203 rooms and suites, giving a true sense of space and privacy. All rooms have private terraces and sea views and the Olga Polizzi-designed interiors combine modern luxury with authentic Sicilian motifs.
There are two 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9-hole, designed - before the resort itself were finished - by leading architect Kyle Phillips. A game of golf here whether you are the most experienced or the novice player will be an unforgettable experience, with beautiful blue skies overhead and epic sea and landscapes all around. The PGA rated courses welcome the guests who will enjoy every round played. Every day, one of the 18-hole courses will be set up for two-ball play and the other for four-ball play. Tee times are allocated every 12 minutes to ensure free flow. The resort offers also six tennis courts, an infinity swimming pool, a fully-equipped gym and running trails which meander through the olive and lemon groves.
The resort's restaurants and bars celebrate Sicilian cuisine with menus created from fresh organic ingredients complemented by a superb wine list. For those seeking deep relaxation the Verdura Spa is exceptional - with four thalassotherapy pools, an extensive number of treatments and personalized well-being activities.

- RESTAURANTS & BARS
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort offers four restaurants. ‘Buon Giorno’ is a casual restaurant, serving an ample buffet breakfast on a large outdoor terrace. ‘La Zagara’, offers an a la carte menu for dinner, featuring the best of Mediterranean cuisine with Sicilian influences. Both restaurants overlook the pool and the sea.
The typical Sicilian trattoria ‘Liola’, near the Torre Verdura fort, is the ideal place for a casual meal with its stunning sea view terrace on the cliffs, whilst ‘Amare’ (open-air and seasonal) is the perfect venue for a casual lunch or romantic candle-lit dinner, just steps from the sea, specializing in fresh seafood.
The resort hotel also offers in-room dining with a 24-hour menu. For drinks, cocktails and snacks there are four bars, one of which usually offers live music in the evenings, and a pool bar. Some restaurants and bars are seasonal and opening is at management discretion.
RELAX
Set apart from the rest of the resort, the Verdura Spa complex offers the ultimate in spa treatment.
The spa comprises 11 treatment rooms with an outdoor treatment terrace, a relaxation area, a spacious, fully equipped gym, 20m² covered swimming pool and double-height steam room. There are also Finnish and infrared saunas, decked terrace with sun-loungers and four thalassotherapy pools. A separate beauty area offers hairdressing, pedicures and manicures. Personal programs can be tailored to suit individual requirements including diet and exercise.
SPORTS & LEISURE
Verdura Resort offers two 18-hole championship golf courses, plus a 9-hole course and driving range, designed by golf course architect Kyle Phillips, who also designed the acclaimed courses of ‘Kingsbarns’ near St. Andrews, and ‘The Grove’ in Hertfordshire. A team of PGA-qualified professionals are available for group or one-to-one tuition, with tailor-made programs to suit all ages and abilities.
A full range of golfing equipment can be hired at the Clubhouse and electric golf carts are also available for hire. Built around a small piazza, the Clubhouse includes changing rooms with showers and lockers, lounge, Pro-Shop, boutiques, café bar and restaurant.
- Other sporting facilities include a stunning 60-metre two-tiered swimming pool overlooking the sea, a tennis center with 6 floodlit courts, full-size football pitch, yoga classes, various water-sports including a diving center and bike hire. Off-center activities include horse riding, land and sea excursions, scuba diving and fishing.
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES
For children aged 4-12 years there is the complimentary Kid’s Club "Verduland" (lunch, special events and baby sitting payable locally) complete with pool, open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm on a full or half day option. Teenagers also have their own dedicated program.

Superior Deluxe Sea Front: 430 sq.ft. Located on the ground floor with stunning sea view, the Superior Deluxe Sea front room offers a generous living space with private terrace and direct access to the garden, a private seating area for alfresco dining and sun loungers. The room has a king size bed and a walk-in wardrobe. The extensive bathroom has a separate bath and walk-in rain shower.
Junior Suite: 645 sq.ft. Located on the first floor, the Junior Suite is furnished with carefully chosen artwork, rich and warm fabrics. It offers a large and bright open space with seating area overlooking the sea and the golf links. The bedroom features a king size canopy bed and a sofa bed, spacious bathroom with walk-in rain shower and bath.
Classic Suite: 645 sq.ft. Located on the ground floor overlooking the sea and the golf link, the Classic Suite is furnished with carefully chosen artwork, rich and warm fabrics. It offers a large and bright open space with seating area and sun loungers. The bedroom features a king size canopy bed and a sofa bed, spacious bathroom with walk-in rain shower and bath.
Grand Suite: 775 sq.ft. Located on the ground floor, facing the sea front, the Grand Suite has a generous living room with kitchen, a private terrace for alfresco dining with sun loungers and hammock.The bedroom features a king size bed, a seating area and walk-in wardrobe. The extensive bathroom has a separate bath and walk-in rain shower.
Villa Peonia: 2690 sq.ft. Facing towards the city of Sciacca and a few steps from the water's edge, our Villa has a beautiful private pool, sun loungers, a large sitting room and a dining area, a kitchinette and a guest cloakroom. The spacious bedroooms offer four-poster king-sized beds, a sitting area and a walk through wardrobe. Villa Peonia has an internal courtyard with private seating and a private double terrace composed by a dining area and seating aread with sun loungers and a hammock.
Villa Mimosa: 2690 sq.ft. Just a short stroll from the water's edge, the Villa Mimosa displays stunning historical scenery of the city. A perfect mix of comfort and elegance, charaterised by a stunning private pool and sun loungers, a large sitting room witha dining area, a kitchinette and a guest cloakroom. The spacious bedrooms offer four-poster king-sized beds, a sitting area and a comfortable walk-through wardrobe. A beautiful double terrace is the perfect location to enjoy dinner in the open air, relaxing under the stars. An internal courtyard with seating is another corner of absolute privacy and relaxation.
Villa Acacia: 2906 sq.ft. On the corner of the site, our Villa Acacia leave you breathless with its spectacular views and its three unique and spacious outdoor terraces; one with a beautiful private pool and sun loungers, one with a relaxing jacuzzi and the other with a large dining area. Inside, Villa Acacia offers generous spaces elegantly designed, composed by a comfortable sitting room with a dining area, a kintchinette and a guest cloakroom. The villa also has an internal courtyard. The large bedrooms, each with a four-poster king-sized bed and a living area, are the perfect places for rest and comfort.
