Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, is a luxurious country estate comprised of a 5-star hotel and elegant villas and farmhouses, spread out on 4,200 acres of land in the heart of Tuscany, only a 20-minute drive from Siena. Vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees surround the property, filling the air with their aromatic scents. Once the home of a noble family, the estate has lovingly transformed into a boutique hotel, using both reclaimed and locally sourced materials: Italian stone, vast wooden beams, ceramic tiles, and terracotta.

Castello di Casole offers 39 suites, rooms, and 2 villas ranging from 18 junior and one-bedroom suites in the main hotel building to contemporary, apartment-style Olive Grove Suites and 2-story Lemon House Suites with a private garden patio. A rich color palette of terracotta, soothing blue, and cypress green brings the feel of Tuscany indoors. Suites are appointed with local antiques, plush sofas covered in vibrant Italian fabrics, and custom-made cabinetry. The spacious bathrooms clad in Carrara marble, travertine, or mosaic tile have a separate shower and tub. Some main villa suites are connected to accommodate larger parties and families, while each of the detached farmhouses boasts its swimming pool.

The property features a well-known restaurant - Ristorante Tosca - with an inspired menu of homemade pasta, freshly baked bread, locally sourced meat, and estate-grown olive oil. Castello Grill is open for lunch and you can interact with the chef while he is preparing your email. LIMONAIA SUITE (5) (690-1,000 SQ FT) Once used to shelter the estate’s lemon trees in cooler weather, the Limonaia now comprises five beautiful suites that open onto a private patio. Enter into an upstairs living area, decorated in contemporary Tuscan style with soothing light blues, yellows, and taupe greys. Two-story, floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light flood in. The master bedroom and private patio are on the lower level. There are no connecting rooms. Maximum occupancy: 3 people (one extra bed can be added).
GRANDIOSA SUITE (4) (655-775 SQ FT) These generous and sophisticated suites enjoy views of the interior courtyard or verdant countryside.
