About the hotel
Originally constructed in the 12th century, Palazzo Avino is an authentic architectural masterpiece, refurbished to the standards of a deluxe five-star hotel. The hotel is situated in the highest part of Ravello, perched on top of a cliff 1,000 feet above sea level, overlooking the spectacular Amalfi Coast and the Mediterranean sea.
The hotel offers 43 guestrooms, including 11 suites, each decorated with handpainted ceramic tiles from Vietri, antique carpets and fine antique furniture from past centuries. Among the luxury amenities the rooms provide are Frette linens, Bulgari toiletries and iPod docking stations.
On-site dining and drinking at the Palazzo Avino offers three options for a truly Italian experience: a tasty snack or a plate of fresh pasta at the Terrazza Belvedere, a romantic aperitif at the fascinating Cafe' dell'Arte and an elegant, gourmet dinner at the Rossellini's Restaurant where the one-star Michelin chef, Michele Deleo, will delight you with his creative Mediterranean haute cuisine. For a truly unforgettable meal, dine by candlelight on one of the terraces, looking down on the fishing boats 1,000 feet below!
The luxurious hotel spa offers a therapeutic whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath and an array of beauty treatments. An open-air fitness center with a heated swimming pool and a panoramic rooftop solarium with two outdoor whirlpools with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast are also available.
The new private beach club at Palazzo Avino's Clubhouse is located by the sea in the small town of Marmorata, just a 15 minutes drive from Ravello. There is complimentary access to the beach platforms for all hotel guests, a small swimming pool, the casual Clubhouse Restaurant, changing rooms and relaxing living rooms. A complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel is available starting from 10 am. The Clubhouse by the Sea opens from May 1st to October 20th.
