If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany, Suite d'Artista is what you need!
This charming and rustic country house is located just below the historical center of Montalcino and serves as a cozy apartment for travelers. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a typical Tuscan countryside atmosphere and make sure that you explore the nearby town during your stay. Suite d’Artista features a panoramic garden, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, wood oven, and private parking.
The property is owned by a lovely couple that have always kept the villa in pristine condition. Heading through the interior, you will find an aesthetically pleasing combination of contemporary art and traditional Tuscan decor. An artistic theme runs through the villa as each of the apartments have been named after famous Italian artists. Each room is furnished with creative variations of Tuscan style and enriched by modern art paintings from the most famous European museums.
Currently used as the main house, the Edward Riddell apartment is themed after the famous American photographer of the same name. Riddell, who is known for his famous black and white photos of Montalcino and other locales in Italy, is commemorated in many of the legendary frames that decorate the interior. Works from many of the photographer's finest galleries can be viewed here.
You might prefer variety, and, if you opt for something a little different from the Riddell, perhaps you'll find exactly what you're looking for in the Botto & Bruno. Equipped with everything that you can find back home, a wood oven, and an open library, this large apartment takes its namesake from two artists who have been featured in the prestigious contemporary and modern art museums in Trento and Roverto.
The three Suites follow the same style as the apartments and each Suite also has a distinctive artistic atmosphere. Di Silvestre is the largest of the three and features Silvestre's masterpiece oil painting "Lontano da Casa." Should you lean more towards contemporary art, the Cannavacciuolo also offers great artistic designs. Hailing from Naples, Maurizio Cannavacciuolo is famous for his modernistic art designs and his famed gallery "Bandiere" is elegantly displayed in this Suite. Last but not least is the Basile'. The smallest of the three Suites, the Basile' offers an intimate experience and is decorated by Matteo Basile's most famous pieces.
