Widely considered one of the greatest food and wine wine regions in Italy, the Langhe's prestige is matched by its natural beauty. As an official UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Langhe is a land of small villages perched on vine-covered hills, and this full day excursion departing from Milan offers visitors the complete experience for all of the senses.
After your private driver meets you at your hotel in Milan, you will depart for Alba, the epicenter of the Langhe food culture, where you will have a free hour to explore the small city. At noon, you will leave for La Morra, where you will have a full Piemontese lunch at Agristurismo Brandini of appetizer, pasta course, meat course, and dessert, accompanied by two of Brandini's wines.
After the leisurely lunch, you will head to and visit the historic Borgogno winery, established in 1761 and perched on the hilltop town of Barolo. Here, you will take a tour of the winery and finish with a tasting of three wines. Before heading back to Milan, you will have a short time to explore the Barolo, visiting one of the many local shops or even the nearby wine museum.
