Via Carlo Alberto, 45
This striking duplex restaurant is named for the two owners, Romeo in the dining room and his wife, Agata, at the stove. The food shows a sophisticated use of traditional Roman ingredients: pasta garnished with broccoli and cauliflower and served in skate broth, or medallions of tuna coated with sesame seeds and served in a sweet and sour sauce. For dessert, consider Agata's homemade millefoglie, a puff pastry stuffed with almonds and sweetened cream. Well-stocked wine cellar.
