1. Name and What do you do at Select Italy?
My name is Daniele! I am an Intern in the Sales Departments in the Chicago office of Select Italy.
2. What’s your favorite Italian destination?
I reckon Italy is riddled with tons of marvelous places. ‘Home sweet home’ is my favourite slogan, thus my countryside near Ancona is where I would like to get lost for the rest of my life. However if I had to choose a magnificent spot in Italy I would definitely go to see the Colosseum!
3. Whom would you go there with?
I would go there with my big brother and my friends, the craziest people in the planet!
4. Which 3 things should never be missing from one’s luggage when traveling to Italy?
First of all, bring a pair of sunglasses: you don’t want to get sunburned if you are coming to Italy. A good camera is also required because tons of spots must be immortalized on your way to ‘Il Bel Paese’. Try to get the most out of your trip: bring a lot of kindness and you will find out how sweet and friendly all the Italians are.
5. What Italian food are you addicted to?
I’m a pasta lover and I’m addicted to any kind of Italian food. However, if I have to choose among the wide variety of specialities we can offer, I would say that Carbonara is the meal I do love most. Last but not least, a tasty gelato at Gelateria Rosita is what I need when I feel like my day misses something rewarding.

If you will ever come to visit Ancona, never forget to spend couple of hours in the gorgeous Passetto! This awesome monument is the proof of perfection as once in the top you can either see the shore or delight your eyes by looking all the way down to the Passetto’s avenue. You can really get the most amazing views and appreciate the most glamour Ancona from there! Don’t forget to stop at La Tazza d’Oro, a very cozy bar you will find only in Ancona: you can’t leave my academic city without having tried the best Espresso ever made!
