The Accademia offers is open every day. On Monday, entrances are available at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. On Monday, the museum officially closes at 2:00 pm. On Tuesday through Sunday, entrances are available at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. The museum officially closes at 7:15 pm Tuesday through Sunday. You are allowed to stay in the museum as long as you would like after entrance. You should plan for approximately 90 minutes for your visit.
The Accademia is closed on January 1, May 1, August 15 and December 25.
Reservation requests for this museum generally can be confirmed in two business day. If you place your order on Friday, confirmation will not be available until Tuesday.
The Accademia is located approximately 15 minutes away from St. Mark's Square.
Children under the age of 5 do not require a ticket. There is no discounted ticket for older children or seniors.
The Galleria dell'Accademia is not wheelchair accessible.

The Galleria dell'Accademia in Venice was founded in the early 19th century to hold the artistic heritage of Venice after the suppression of monasteries, churches and guilds under Napoleonic and Austrian rule. The museum's collection spans five centuries covering the Medieval, Byzantine, Renaissance and Baroque periods. This museum contains the most important collection of paintings of the Venetian school, with masterpieces by Bellini, Titian, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Veronese, Tiepolo, and Rosalba Carriera. Due to restoration work at the Accademia Gallery, some rooms may be closed.
Additional Information:
You must be at the museum 10 minutes before your scheduled entrance time to redeem your tickets. Alternately, tickets can be picked up on the preceeding day.
Changes are not possible within 15 days of your originally confirmed visit date.
The Accademia accepts reservations no more than two months in advance. If your requested date is further than two months away, your order will be held until we may confirm it with the Accademia.
