The Colosseum and Forum Pass allows reserved entrances to be used at
any time on the date of your choosing or the following day. These tickets are valid for two (2) days, one visit for each site only. The sites officially close at sunset.
Plan to spend at least half a day in the Colosseum neighborhood. In addition to visiting the Colosseum and Roman Forum, you may wish to visit the Palatine Hill, where Rome's illustrious patricians dwelled.
The Colosseum and Roman Forum are closed on December 25, January 1 and May 1.
Reservation requests for entrance tickets generally can be confirmed in
one business day. If you place your order on Friday, confirmation will not be available until Monday.
The Colosseum is located in the southern part of Rome's center and has its own Metro stop on the B line of the subway.
Children under the age of 5 do
not require a ticket. There is no discounted ticket for older children or seniors.
The Colosseum is wheelchair accessible, however access in the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill may be restrictive due to unpaved pathways.
While the Colosseum has panels explaining the site throughout, the Roman Forum does not. You may wish to do some research prior to your trip or plan to take a
guided tour.
