A private Walking Tour is the only way to go! Our guide, Tiberio, met us exactly when and where we anticipated. He handed us our tickets and we went directly inside without waiting in line at all. Our guide was very personable, knowledgable and interesting. He was great! He even kept my 13-year-old engaged the entire time. Our guide tailored the tour to our particular interests: the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. We spent a lot of time in both locations while he explained many things which helped us to really understand what we were seeing. I had been to the Vatican before but for the first time I began to truly appreciate it. This tour made us feel like VIPs.
