When I asked Chef Andrea's assistant, Francesco #1 (there are 2 with that name!), why he chose cooking as a profession, he replied, "Food can make people happy. I create happiness." Boy was he right. Chef Andrea's candy pasta made me very happy. Learning to make prawns wrapped in pancetta and how to match wonderful Italian cheeses with salumis and olive oils (thanks to Lou Di Palo) made me happy. Discovering family activity ideas for my trip to Italy this summer from Select Italy made me happy. Good food, good information and an overall good time.
This event is a Must Do while in NYC. Tourists and locals will love it. I look forward to my next Dinner with Andrea & Andrea and will highly recommend it as a top pick on travelingmom.com.
