We were advised to buy tickets wherever possible, and for this gallery we knew it was wise. The delivery of e-ticket was prompt, and we enjoyed our visit to the gallery immensely.

The Accademia Gallery if very small but The David makes it worth the visit. All I can say is AMAZING! Be sure to buy your tickets ahead - the line is very long. Not to be missed.

We went in Florence in August and the lines everywhere are tremendous. With Select Italy reservations we walked right in. If you are planning to see the Accademia, the museum strictly enforces entry time on the vouchers - we walked right in, at our scheduled entry time. Thanks again Select Italy!
David, David, David...

Michaelangelo does not disappoint. While his "David" is clearly the main draw, there are many other great works to take in. The adjacent museum of antique musical instruments was an unexpected bonus. To see a number of instruments Stradivari was a real treat.

We were on a cruise and had a limited time in Florence, so we did not want to waste our day waiting in line for tickets to the Academy. So glad we booked ahead of time with Select Italy. Our reservations made seeing the David a 15 minute process as opposed to an all-day affair. Thanks!

This online ticket service is a MUST USE! We arrived in Florence to find probably 500+ people in line to see the David. With our online ticket reservation from Select Italy we walked right to the front of the line and inside...no waiting! It was fabulous! Without this we would have never been able to see it.

We went in mid-November and there were no lines - we could just walk right in. It's different in summer, but Italy in November is blissfully empty.

The instructions from select italy on how to get your tickets are very clear. I am glad I purchased the tickets in advance. You get there 10 min before your selected time and go right in.
I strongly reccommend to buy tickets in advance as lines can tend to be long.

Statue of David

This is a must! The lines everyday to get into the Galleria dell'Accademia to see the Statue of David can be a mile long. We where there for an 8.15am time slot - we walked straight in and we had the gallery and the statue of David basically to ourselves.

I ordered thes and tickets for the San marco museum at the last minute and Select Italy had the vouchers waitning at my hotel in florence. It was Absolutely convient to have gotten these tickets in advance and as my husband and I strolled right by the long and hot line for those waitng we walked in to see the beauty of the David without being tired and irritable. Once again, purchasing tickets in advance is truly a worthwhile expense as the line at the Accademia was long and slow moving for those who did not have advance tickets.
