Trip of a Lifetime was a one-hour travel/reality series underwritten by Travel+Leisure magazine that aired on The Travel Channel. The producers contacted Select Italy three weeks prior to their scheduled shoot to request assistance for an episode about a family trip to Italy. Select Italy arranged the following services, almost all in trade for promotion:
- Private after-hours visit to the Accademia Gallery
- Private Ferrari drive through Chianti
- Deluxe guided photo walk of Venice
- Private behind-the-scenes tour of the Vasari Corridor
- Hands-on Marble Sculpting lesson in Carrara
- Hands-on Glass-blowing experience in Venice
- Private Tour of Verona's Roman Amphitheater
- Transportation & Meals
In addition, Select Italy secured shooting permissions for major sites, collaborated with local Italian production coordinators, and accompanied the crew to make sure that all production elements went without a hitch.
