Villa Barberina is an 18th century, Palladian-style villa situated in the foothills of the Alps, in the Veneto right outside Valdobbiadene - the homeland of Prosecco. The villa's owners belong to the fourth generation of producers of this delightful, bubbly wine and they are considered by many to be one of the best in the region.

A driveway lined with cypress trees takes you to this imposing villa, consisting of the central building and two towers on each side, used in the past as dovecotes. The property boasts five bedrooms decorated in pastel colors; they feature parquet floors, luxurious Frette sheets and modern bathrooms with antique bathtubs.

Antique furniture, Oriental rugs, original oil paintings, collections of ceramics and tabletop boxes in various materials enhance the elegance of the villa. The cozy sitting room, well-equipped kitchen and a charming dining room where a delicious breakfast is served each morning add to the welcoming feeling that the Villa Barberina provides.

The villa is surrounded by a huge garden of centuries-old trees with statues and fountains throughout. An outdoor swimming pool and adjacent whirlpool is at the guests' full disposal. Situated in the fascinating landscape of the Veneto, Villa Barberina is truly a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
