  1. Name and What do you do at Select Italy? Martina. I am a Client Care Specialist. 2. What’s your favorite Italian destination? This is really difficult for me because I love all of Italy! My favorite city to live in is Rome, because the people are so friendly and good-natured, and there is always something to see and do! My two favorite destination cities are completely opposite from each other on the map: Taormina in Siciliy and Bolzano in northern Alto Adige region. Taormina is a gorgeous, ancient town, built into the cliff and written about by romantics and poets worldwide - it also has amazing seafood, such as pasta ai ricci (sea urchin pasta) for the adventurous or zuppa di pesce (seafood soup). Bolzano is situated in the northernmost region of Italy near Austria, and has breathtaking views of the Dolomites. In addition, as an officially German-Italian bilingual province, it offers a unique experience of a mix of Austrian and Italian cultures

  1. Name and What do you do at Select Italy? My name is Justin and I am the Operations and Customer Service Manager. 2. What’s your favorite Italian destination? My favorite place in Italy is Bologna. I spent time there as a student and love the vibrant and young atmosphere of the city. The food is amazing (it’s the birthplace of ragu’ alla bolognese), but watch your portions or your waistline will grow quickly! A highlight of the city is the Teatro Comunale where you can find many of the same singers as you would at La Scala but for a more economical price. After a night at the opera, Bologna also offers exciting nightlife, with a pub, bar, or discoteca for every style.

  1. Name and What do you do at Select Italy? Cynthia Bianchini. I’m an intern in New York for the Production Department. 2. What’s your favorite Italian destination? I haven’t been in many Italian cities, but I liked all the cities I visited. Each of them were different. I loved Modena, a historical city, but I would advice it for a short stay, because it is not a huge town. Yet my favorite one is Venice. This city is beautiful!
