Please read the terms and conditions carefully to fully understand
all the features of
our program.
These Terms
- Our professional relationship will be governed by following terms and conditions. You are
responsible for reading and understanding them and abiding by them as an affiliate partner in
the SelectItaly.com sales program.
- We reserve the right to change these terms as we deem necessary without notification.
- In this document, "we" refers to Select Italy, the company that owns and operates this
affiliate program; "you" refers to you, the applicant responsible for referring web customers
to our website.
Our Relationship
- Submission of the registration form will constitute a request for membership in the
SelectItaly.com affiliate sales program. We reserve the right to reject any application for
any reason.
- We will be bound by these terms and conditions from the moment that we approve your
registration request.
- We may decide to terminate your affiliate account at any time. We will pay out the total
amount of commission due to you at the moment of account termination.
- You will indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, and expenses
(including, without limitation, legal fees) relating to the development, operation, maintenance,
and contents of your site as well as any goods or services provided or made available by you.
- If we conclude that you’re are using the affiliate partnership in any fraudulent way
(registering multiple affiliate accounts, inflating orders, creating fake orders to get
commission) we reserve the right to cancel your affiliate account without notice and to withhold
any commissions that may have been earned fraudulently pending the outcome of our investigation.
The Affiliate Link
- We will provide the HTML code for links and banner ads containing your unique affiliate code
for you to place on your website. You may place the links on any of the pages of your site.
- You are welcome to make modifications to the appearance of the links or banner ads, including
text size, font, color, field size and color and any other purely aesthetic properties.
- However, you must not make any modifications that would affect the technical functionality
of the links. If you change the link URL (ie. Removing your affiliate code or some other change)
we will not be able to track your sales. Any change you make to the technical underpinnings of
the link may result in failed orders and lost commissions.
- You may not re-sell our affiliate sales program to anyone else our affiliate agreement is
between you and us only, no additional sub-affiliates may be added.
Our Customers
- Any customer that executes a search through your affiliate link will become our customer upon
completing their order. We will be in direct contact with our customer to provide them with the
services they request. Affiliates should refer all order questions, requests for service, or
queries regarding our products to us. We are not responsible for any misrepresentations or
misunderstandings that result from affiliates providing information about our services.
Commissions
- You will earn commissions on all successful sales that result from customer that use your
affiliate link to get to our website according to the commission table found in the
'Commissions & Benefits' page, upon login.
All services not included in the table are NON-COMMISSIONABLE.
This includes hotels, train tickets, FITs, among others.
- Commissions will be paid quarterly by mailed check in USD. Commissions become payable 10
days after the service date. You will receive commissions for all performances that occur in
a specific quarter at the end of that quarter.
- If your commission check is less than $40.00, we reserve the right to postpone sending
your check until the next quarterly commission cycle.
- Occasionally, if a requested service is not available, we may substitute an alternate
service of an equivalent or higher value. Your commission amount will be determined by the
actual price of the service provided.
- If the requested services are not available, and we are not able to provide an acceptable
alternative, then the order will be considered cancelled and no commission will be paid.
- Situations may arise in which a customer successfully disputes a charge made in connection
with a SelectItaly.com affiliate purchase. In such cases, no commissions will be earned or
paid related to the disputed order.
The Affiliate Control Panel
- The affiliate partner control panel, located at http://www.selectitaly.com/affiliates will
be the main point of contact between you and us for all transactions pertaining to our affiliate
partnership.
- You will be able to check on the status of any outstanding commissions, and the amount of any
upcoming commission checks through this control panel.
Your Obligations and Responsibilities
- You are responsible for posting the affiliate links on your website and marketing it as your
budget and inclination allow.
- You agree not to use the affiliate links or partnership program for anything other than the purpose
for which it was designed. If you use the links for any illegal or unethical activities, we will not
be held responsible.

As an affiliate partner, you are obliged to take all reasonable actions
to protect Select Italy's brand identity as a professional, high-end
retailer of Italian travel services. If any of your marketing efforts
result in damage to our reputation, brand, image, etc, or if we simply
disagree with the marketing strategies implemented, we reserve the right to
cancel your account and pursue legal action if appropriate. More
specifically, we vehemently forbid the following marketing strategies: link
farms, mass posting to public internet forums, unsolicited email (SPAM), and
any other mode of communication that we deem inconsistent with our brand
identity and message.
Our Obligations and Responsibilities
- We will handle all order details, including requests, delivery of vouchers, collection of payments
and customer interaction.
- We will track all sales figures and present them to you through your affiliate control panel
available online at www.selectitaly.com/affiliates.
- We will track all commissions and be solely responsible for calculating commissions earned by you.
- While we hope to maintain 100% uptime, the SelectItaly.com website and affiliate control panel may
occasionally be unavailable or broken. We will make every effort to keep the site up and running, and
to make any needed repairs in a timely manner. We do not take any legal or fiscal responsibility for
commissions lost as a result of technical website problems.
