Background

Envisioning a travel company that would be a unique source for all things Italian, Select Italy's Italian born President, Andrea Sertoli, founded the company in 1997 keeping his pulse on new discoveries, whether it be a destination, event or accommodation. Select Italy was created out of the desire to offer a specialized, custom oriented travel service with the ability to produce state-of-the-art tours, itineraries and activities. Through a vast network of suppliers and cultural contacts, Select Italy has quickly established itself as a fast-growing operator in the industry.

With its main offices in Chicago, IL and representatives in Italy, Select Italy's staff is comprised of native Italian and American travel professionals, all of whom are knowledgeable, dedicated and have a passion for Italy. Our carefully selected guides and liaisons in Italy are specialized in the areas of archaeology, art history and the academic world to ensure the highest level of service. Select Italy is committed to creating the perfect vacation and maximizing enjoyment in Italy for our clients by adhering to the highest standards of professionalism.

Select Italy is an accredited member of IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network) the premier international travel agent association.

Andrea Sertoli - A Lifetime of Travels Helps Others Experience Their Dream Vacations

A man of many talents and adventures, Andrea Sertoli is changing the Italian tourism industry through his extensive experience with travel and technology. Born in Rome, he established his career in travel after successful careers in the fields of agronomy, foreign affairs, non-profit work and hotel representation.

In 1997, he founded Select Italy, one of the first niche specialist tour operators. Today, Select Italy is a thriving full service company with an expert staff and innovative web site that offers the industry's widest selection of vacation options for the Italy traveler.
